    Strange there were no protestors outside my doctors office when I got a vasectomy. I didn’t have to navigate any local laws or travel out of state. There were no religious pressure in or out of the doctor’s, or anti-vasectomy pamphlets handed out, no news coverage, no billboards

    2 New Orleans teens proved that trigonometry could independently prove the Pythagorean theorem -something mathematicians said could not be done. It’s been “settled” for 2,000 years but these two girls solved the unsolvable. Amazing.

    ESPN is now reporting that Brett Favre's charity, which is focused on raising money to fight breast cancer, gave the highest percentage of its charitable donations to his alma mater in Mississippi for a sporting center or something. Yikes.

    In my parents lifetime interstate travel was restricted & deadly for Black folk. Crossing state lines was a threat to their lives. Unfortunately, the same people who created & sustained that system are now extending it beyond Black folk to white women who *may be pregnant.

    This is why we haven’t gotten reparations we’re owed. It’s not the money, it’s the fragility of those who will not get any. The anger of not being centered. And the desire to destroy that which they cannot have.
