    I've said this before but when my mom had cancer in 2013 the hospital literally made us dress like this to go into rooms because patients undergoing chemo had severely weakened immune systems

    I don't have the bandwidth to really get into it in detail but basically Chinese culture re: queer ppl is really different from the west in that you can be the most visibly queer person ever and avg person doesn't care as long as you don't say it overtly
