    I’ve honestly never felt worse about our leaders, sorry ‘leaders’, the lack of opposition, the hypocrisy of the elite, the state of journalism, the state of debate, the labelling of everyone, and the general ideological direction of the UK than I do now.

    Whatever way you look at it, these are facts. They’ve kept hold of titles from an institution they claim is awful. They’ve used those titles to monetise slagging off their family- again and again. They’re trashing the Queen’s legacy, the year she died. #HarryandMeghanNetflix

    Far be it from me to be dramatic about the UK tax situation… however: Employed? TAXED Buy something? TAXED Profit in business? TAXED Hire someone? TAXED Buy a home? TAXED Sell a home? TAXED (if reports true) Buy a buy-to- let? TAXED Sell an asset? TAXED Use local services?

    I can’t stress enough if you hammer landlords with higher taxes or expensive unnecessary regulations it’ll mean one of two things- They’ll put rents up to cover these costs They’ll sell, meaning fewer rentals, and higher rents This is staggeringly basic stuff @RachelReevesMP

    I can’t get my head around the poor man stabbed to death whilst walking his dog. It’s just horrific. I can’t get my head around the awfulness but also that so many people just aren’t surprised that things like this happen now? What the hell is going on?
