00:00 - Bulldogs get the win in their season opener! Gabe Stout threw three innings striking out 7. Luke Burford, Chris Bachman, and Eric Santaguida all had a multi-hit game to lead the offense! Bulldogs next game is tomorrow vs. Hanover Central.
- Game 1 winner in extras! CP downs Penn 1-0 in the bottom of the 8th on a single by Sabotnik! Not only does he drive in the winning run, but goes 7 innings, striking out 5. Lindeman comes in to shut them down in the 8th. Have a day! @jrsabotnik
- 7⃣ Bulldogs were named DAC All-Conference!! Special shout-out to Billy Chidsey who was named conference offensive MVP!
- Last night was special for Bulldogs baseball. We had the honor of wearing the National Guard jerseys in last nights win over Merrillville. We are proud to support the National Guard and all military members! Thank you to all, past and present, who have served our country!
- CP baseball opens up conference play with a win over Chesterton yesterday! Ryan Fender goes 5 innings striking out 10 and giving up one run. Gene Kolarik sparks the offense by hitting a grand slam! That moves the record to 3-0 on the season. CP plays at Chesterton today at 4:30.
- Home run derby and lunch with the boys.... that's how you handle two straight rain outs. Thanks @station21cp for hosting us today!
