    Orthostatic tachycardia after #COVID19 by @trishgreenhalgh @bmj_latest โ€œabout 25% of #LongCovid patients may have dysautonomia & 2-14% will develop orthostatic tachycardia (#POTS ) 6 to 8 months after infection.โ€ Anecdotally, seeing more & more of it.

    Bisoprolol does not increase the rate of serious adverse events in patients with Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease at high risk of exacerbation. Do use beta blockers in COPD if clinically indicated. โฆ@JAMANetworkโฉ #ATS2024 #COPD

    6 open water drownings in Yorkshire in the last 6 days, Trisha (My parents made sure I was @RLSSUK competent & a good open water swimmer [with pyjamas on!], & always cautioned us about open water swimming). So tempting, yet so dangerous.
