- Replying to @GoodwinMJShouldn’t reply to this nonsense but here we go anyway. I took my two kids down from Manchester last month and we had a great time. Reserved seats on the train (return) and two nights in a decent hotel was a total of £380. Not cheap cheap, but not unreasonable for three people.
