- If this writer prefers another verb phrase in the context “M ____ed her child C” to refer to the act of relinquishment, they don’t specify one. “She chose us as parents” makes plain that this article is centering the feelings of adoptive parents first and foremost.
- Replying to @limricklevelThanks. This person is also an adoptee, but (apparently) decided some time ago that my views on adoption just don’t sit right with them. Not the first time they have strawmanned me.
