- I will occasionally see this take on here every few months, and it always stops me in my tracks when I do because I legitimately cannot comprehend any lens through which someone might feel this wayโฆ..Growing up is realizing he was the good guy
- Favorite aspect of Dune 2 is how aggressively โanti-blockbusterโ it is. Every aspect of the standard Chosen One narrative here is filled with portent and dread. The movie doesnโt want Paul to become the One. Once he does, even the โepic final battleโ intentionally feels wrong.
- Replying to @comradejosh7Cameronโs writing is always labeled as being simplistic (I personally prefer the term โuniversalโ though), and his messaging here is so clear and so direct that I have no real choice but to assume that people liking and agreeing with this are just full-blown psychopaths lol.

GIF - The way people talk about directors on here is, again, legitimately insane. You may not like certain choices that he made, but I would say that a movie emotionally connecting em masse with millions of people worldwide is indeed a credit to the skills of its director.jon chu is a terrible director, the movie has been met with great success in spite of him and not because of him, and now he's getting a lot of credit and will go on directing musicals - something he sucks incredibly at!!!!!

00:00 - Honestly, this is probably my favorite shot in the whole trailer. The creases on his nose extending to his eyes, his pearly whites, the photorealistic leaves next to him, the depth of field. All of it is immaculate. They have my boy Loโak looking like a goddamn prince!!
