Had this in the mail when we got home this evening. I Started my masters degree in 2015 after I finished playing in college. Through two kids, three different jobs, and seven seasons as a head coach. I finished my Masters Degree Coaching and Athletic Administration in February.
- Thanks to our kids for a great season. What a journey, 25-4 overall, SPC regular season and tournament champions & a Sweet 16 team. Also led NC in PPG after graduating 98% of our scoring. So proud of our team & can’t wait to see what the next season holds returning 10 of them.
- Proud to announce @MattGrantham5 as our next Head Coach. He is a grinder and been apart of conference championships/nationally ranked teams at the college level every place he had been. Cox Mill is a special place and we KNOW we got a special person and coach in Coach Grantham.We are excited to announce @MattGrantham5 as our Head Boys Basketball Coach! ● Head HS Varsity Coach at Havelock HS the 21-22 Season ● Asst. Coach for 5 years at the College Level for @queensMBB @CVRedHawks and @ncwesleyan (NCAA D2,D3, and NJCAA) ● Student Assistant @ ECU
- LOVE THIS TEAM,after graduating 8 seniors. These boys worked from June all the way to last night. They pushed forward and grew. They battled through one of the toughest schedules in the area and accomplished their goal of being @Gm4Sports Champs, and a Sweet 16 run. 🖤 you guys!
- Today makes 1 year since taking over as the Athletic Director at Cox Mill. I found out that the yearbook staff dedicated this years yearbook to me which was a surprise.@CoxMillHS is a special place and I love where I work. Looking forward to what next year holds! #MillMentality

- Phenomenal church service this morning hearing one of our own preach. I’m blessed to be Caleb Gilbert’s coach and this morning God used him to bless me and everyone else who heard him preach. Excited to see what God has planned for Caleb the rest of his senior year and after!
