Hightower with what is called a forearm shiver. It was very popular as a block destruction technique in the 1970's. Modern coaches stopped teaching it in favor of hands punch in modern game. They said it was no good because it allowed blocker to get into your body. Go figure?

If you’re a football player you are special. There’s a reason why all your friends and classmates do not play. It’s hard.
Life lessons through the sport of football

Effective today I am no longer employed at Saint Anselm College due to my Equipment Manager job being eliminated. I am searching for a job and a football team to coach. I wish the players and my student workers the best.

Today is my 37th wedding anniversary. Chicks love being married to football coaches. Listening to BS in the stands from people who know nothing, dinners alone, raise kids alone. Thanks for hanging out with me. You're living the dream. #Cybil

Today is our 36th Wedding Anniversary. Kathy has been a great Coaches wife. She raised my kids while I was helping raise yours. Best questions she ever asked the coach. After a loss- What do you guys do at practice? Do you ever teach tackling?
