I hate cancer so bad. It took my aunt, it took two of my grandparents and it has tried to take my grandfather and dad. I hate it so bad that I’ll wear this for our Coaches Vs. Cancer game if I get 1,000 hearts. The catch is that everyone that hearts has to donate $1 if I wear it.

A reminder to those calling for cancellation of sports again...it is a parent’s choice to allow their child to participate and it is the choice of fans to attend (if allowed). Nobody is forcing either group to do something they do not want to do.

Update on Hagen this morning from his mom… He has improved so much since yesterday. They said he can start drinking liquids and they are taking him off of some of the 8 IV's he is on and taking out his central line too. Praise the Lord! Keep praying! @PamKnepp

Stop today and pray. Pray for this young man. Pray that the healing hands of the Holy Spirit be upon his body & that the surgeons will use the gifts that God has given them to make his body well. Pray that the comforting hands of the Holy Spirit be upon his family. #HagenStrong

Continue to pray for Hagen. His surgery went much longer than expected and into the very early morning hours. Pray for his recovery and that his family find peace today as they were put through the ringer yesterday! #HagenStrong

Old men yelling at 16 year old JV players like it’s their job has no place in our world right now in a gym with 600 people. Wait, it has no place in our world at all.

Prayers for everyone involved in the incident at the AAU tournament in Sandusky, OH today. The problem isn’t with AAU, youth, or basketball. It’s a problem with the way our society handles adversity in general. We need to stop real fast and check ourselves. Notice I said WE!

We all took the plunge today as a family to be baptized. Never a bad day to commit yourself to the Lord.

When you are a head coach you never stop being the head coach. It’s a 24/7 365 job. During weekends; on family days; on vacation; when you are high/low; 3AM or 3PM; it doesn’t matter…you are always on call.

$4 Billion to put armed guards at the front door of every school in the country. $75 Billion to Ukraine. Ponder that for a moment…

Parents (me included) - enjoy the journey; enjoy the ride with your kid as they participate in athletics. Don’t get caught up in the game to game performance, wins/losses, distractions. Focus on the gifts the Lord has given your kid and the fact they are part of something bigger.

One of my absolute favorite quotes of all time. Nick Saban telling it the way it is.
