    This is Barrow High School (Alaska) the northernmost high school. Never above 0° during football, dark for 65 straight days, and they play next to the Arctic Ocean. Not to mention occasionally having a polar bear gazing at you! #YouThinkYourGamesAreCold

    From a coaching perspective you appreciate a coach that works hard, gives back, fights, lays it all on the line and lives & dies with his guys. An all-in mantra. Coaches appreciate coaches. It’s a brotherhood. We know what goes into it.

    Juan Castillo, OL coach of the Chicago Bears drooped by to see us today. One of the best coaches in the NFL. More importantly, a former Tarpon coming back to where it all started! Giving back to our kids. Tremendous man, great story!

    And while I am at it. Stop arguing over what state is better in HS football. Pointless discussions on this. Great HS ball across the US. Enjoy it where you are at. It’s really a simple concept. Be happy for kids across the US!
