    This is year two for this issue. I’m not one to complain on twitter, but @DeMarini, you HAVE to get this right. Small school budgets get worse bat deals and can’t afford for this to happen. This is the 13th, yes 13th, bat we’ve broken. 6 intersquads, 2 games, since January 11.

    Today is a good day to tell Commissioner Rob Manfred he needs to go back to 40 rounds in the @MLBDraft. In a world where many are trying to provide opportunities for kids to participate in sport, baseball is heading in the wrong direction. @MLB @chazzyfizzz

    Today, I had fun at practice. I was grateful to be there—being around good players, good coaches, great people. The field is where all has always been good in my life. It’s an escape from life’s realities. Tomorrow I hope we can do it again.
