- Win the league they said. Host the tournament they said. It will be fun and worth it they said. Not on this field. Hours of this just to have a chance of playing. Anyone who says our field doesn’t need to be fixed or we don’t need turf can kick the absolute largest rocks.

- When I got hired 11 years ago, the only number I knew about the program was 1927. As a Cubs fan, I grew up with the Curse of the Billy Goat and 1908 so I understood the significance in the dry spell. Cannot put into words what ending the 96 year drought means!! 🐝⚾️THE DROUGHT IS OVER!! For the first time since 1927, the Hornets are the MIAA regular season champions! Behind their 14-2 victory over Olivet, Kalamazoo clinched a share of the regular season title, as well as the right to host the MIAA Tournament. 🐝⚾️ @MIAA1888 #d3baseball
- Special to have @KirkCousins8 and family out at today’s doubleheader. It’s like kids coming home to see their parents The equivalent of that with coaches is former players coming back to games.

- My morning. A buck in the cages is not part of the football event management manual.
- Back-to-back regular season titles. Back-to-back 30 win seasons. 3rd title in last 3 seasons. 4th in the last 8. Not many ever saw any of this coming with where the program used to be. Blessed to have the tremendous group of players and staff that we have had over the years.
- 5 yrs ago, my 1st season, we lost 30 games. We just ended our season w/ 31 wins. Immensely proud of what's been built & how far we've come.
- If you've been around the MIAA for the past 10-60 yrs, could anyone ever imagine this happening? General answer is definitively no. Well, some of us did.
