- A college coach knows if you have the “baseball talent.” When they ask me about you, I go straight to the weightroom and classroom. It’s either a compliment to your game or a red flag. Pound the weightroom and compete in the classroom. Not getting looks, reflect on those.
- We have a list of 7 Teams that are not allowed to use our facilities. It’s simple. Clean up after yourself and respect the facility. If not, you’re not coming back. If Ohtani can do it, you can too. Add one more tonight.

- If you have a coach in your athleticS (CAPITAL S) program and you know they’ve told players to quit other sports, they should be gone. If you, as an AD, permit it…you promote it. Let kids have a blast competing in different arenas.
- If you are a high school kid that played a spring season, then a summer season and you’re now throwing in a fall game this morning at 8:30…you’re crazy.

- With many seniors having their baseball careers come to an end, remember: The ultimate test of success is not whether you're proud of what you've achieved. It's whether you're proud of who you've become. Enjoy it all. Understand what “wins” really are. @oobaseball
