    We hate on kids & their perceived unwillingness to work on their game now days. But we’ve also made it nearly impossible for kids to get in a gym. Either need a membership, pay fees, sign a waiver, bring 2 forms of ID, insurance, 2 adults, know secret handshake etc just to get in

    Basketball pet peeve: •Post player is open on the block calling for the ball •Guard w/the ball waves him off to come set a ballscreen on the wing •Post comes out to set the screen & m the guard goes 4 feet off contact never actually using the screen •Guard never looks @ post

    Biggest area of coaching development that is LACKING is how to balance work & home. No one talks a/b how be to a coach/spouse/parent. You can’t go to school to “learn” everything you need to be a coach but especially can’t go to a class that teaches you how to be all 3 at once.

    I'm a fan of switching, it's no secret..."but what about the mismatch?" yada yada...well, I really like what you see here from Michel Diouf when he switches on to the PG in transition. Best way to keep the mismatch from occurring is do your best to not let him get the ball back.
