- Issue I hear a lot about not wanting to play JUCO baseball is that the player wants to graduate from a “big” or prestigious University. Understandable, but you can still graduate from that major university after playing two years of JUCO. Not about where you start...

- Absurd. NCCU needs baseball. Baseball needs NCCU.
- Little note to all the ‘18s and even some ‘19s who won’t be playing college baseball. It’s ok. We all see that day some day. You can go on to be great husbands, sons, brothers, employees, etc. 👊 Baseball teaches us all some important lessons.

- Spring sports just ended (and haven’t played majority of season) and everyone is already talking about football. Spring athletes need support and attention during this time. They’ve already had their season stripped from them. Don’t take this time from them either. #tweet
- Laney woke up at 6:45 this morning to come to the field with me. Don’t know if she’ll ever know how much it meant to me but maybe this tweet will one day show her when she can read. She loves being at the ballfield. 🙌🏻

- Had a player today (one heck of a hitter by the way) tell me he was going to bunt if leadoff guy got on base because WE needed to scratch another run across. WE moved on to the semifinals because these guys care about TEAM success. @dirtbag_swag ☠️🆙
