    The first D1 visit of the year goes to...@IlliniFootball. Big thanks to @CoachKaneIllini for stopping by first this morning to talk about 2022, 2023, & 2024 guys. Cannot say enough about how impressed I am with the commitment of this staff to the kids in our own state!

    Underclassmen that want to play college FB, under a 3.0 (you limit your options)/under a 2.5 (you limit your options more)/under a 2.0(you can count the options on one hand). GPA Matters!!! Average in the classroom doesn't cut it!

    All college coaches ask me: How are his grades? (Can they recruit you) How’s his attendance at your workouts and team activities? (Is the team important to you) How does he practice? (Do you love footbal) Talent matters but every athlete controls the answers above. #DBD

    Lots of negativity going on out there so here’s a positive thought, we’ve had 160+ athletes a day go through groups of 9 social distanced conditioning workouts all week...the athletes have never worked harder & our staff has been amazing!#BestStaffInTheState #BestJobInTheState

    Told my oldest daughter Gwen I was going to make a movie a while back…she didn’t believe me. Got these in the mail yesterday…she still wasn’t impressed. Pretty cool our program gets recognized on national level like this! Players and asst. coaches deserve all the credit. #DBD

    11 years ago, we had one D1 school stop by during the fall/winter period. That coach that came through was @Callybrian & even though he has moved up the coaching ranks, he stops by here every single recruiting period. Great to have Coach and @GopherFootball stop by today!

    Mr. King, thanks for capturing this moment. Three of the biggest reasons @WABlackhawkFB has achieved was it has achieved are in this picture & I’m not talking about myself. Best football wife in the state & two kids that share their dad with a bunch of football players. #DBD
