- Lot of well deserved hype around @isaac_asuma today, but the world should know Isaac is as solid as you can be as a sophomore off the court. Goes right to his family after games and lets his little cousins hang all over him. Very kind and respectful, with tons of humility.
- I'm BAAAAACK! So excited to be back where it all started, and working with great kids! Close to home, and I also get to coach with my friends! This was an easy 'Yes' for me, and can't wait for Monday!Excited to announce our JV Head Coach/Varsity Assistant Travis Dedina @coachdedina. Travis comes to us with a wealth of knowledge and is dedicated to growing the program!
00:00 - If you announce you get an offer for any sport, at any level- I'm smashing that like button. I dont need to know you. All opportunities and accomplishments should be celebrated.
- I am the luckiest coach on the planet. Love these guys. Fun to watch them compete against each other in an awesome game. Family it is, Family it stays 🤞
- Yesterday was the day to celebrate a love that has already shown its strength. A day to celebrate with family and friends, and a village that has made both of us who we are. Photo on the left is the day that I knew that we had to make sure we had the photo on the right.
- This is unacceptable on every level. No human being should have to be treated, or spoken to this way, and the fact that these are KIDS means that the trauma of this experience is here for longer. This is sad.I hope someone use their basketball platform to write about the continuous racist actions to our black kids. It’s very quiet when it comes to that. It’s getting out of control! This is pathetic and disgusting! They’re lucky the @cooperhawksgbb staff have class. Coulda went left!
- Maybe the worst kept secret, but after a short hiatus from the AAU scene, I'm excited to announce that I will be leading a new group on their journey! Looking forward to helping this next group of young men reach their potential, and continue to learn to love the game!
- On June 15th, I had a surprise surgery on my abdominal/digestive system that made coaching take a backseat for a while. It has been a very up/down experience, and I really miss my team. Thankfully, I had an old friend @MnHeatMac come out of retirement for me while I recover.
- Solid finish to a good tournament in Atlanta with these guys. Lots of really great moments for everyone this weekend. Execution was next level. 3-1, ready to get back to work for next weekend and be back to full strength.
- This right here... this group is so fun to work with, and coach. I have loved every minute of our journey. They live for each other. We've tumbled, climbed, and tumbled again, but we've done it together. Family it is, Family it stays.
- Surgery and recovery has been grueling, but I'm getting through it. My steps forward in recovery has everything to do with the person in this photo. Recently engaged, and life threw us a curveball. Latasha spent every single day with me in the hospital. 8 days. I'm grateful.
- Huge win for our seniors tonight. If there's one thing that I have learned from this crew- it's resilience. They've all battled devastating knee injuries, and lost a year due to the pandemic. They still showed up. They finished. They. Never. Quit.
- We know you're running your kid's Twitter account. No, it doesn't help recruitment.
