    Let me tell you about God....I lost my dad on Sept. 14th, 2019. My dad was my hero. My dad also happen to be a legendary basketball coach who won multiple championships. Yesterday, my brother & I won championships on the same day, two hours apart, and my mom got to witness both!!

    I’ve tried to use this time away for reflection, growth, and gratitude. As I reflect, I can’t help but think about this special group I had the honor of coaching/working with this year! No egos, no entitlement, just a daily commitment to the details! God is good! #SACchamps

    Today would’ve been my father’s 61st birthday...not a day goes by where I don’t think about my father. He was simply the best! Happy birthday in heaven Dad! Continue to look down on us pop, and we will continue to “stay the course, and keep the faith.” 🦅 #RipDad

    A year ago today, was the worst day of my life...my dad passed. It still doesn’t seem real. My dad was an phenomenal father, but now he’s a phenomenal guardian angel! He always did what it took to take care of me and my brother...and guess what? NOTHINGS changed! #staythecourse

    My dad was the first person to go to college in his family. My mom was the first person in her family to go to college as well. After my brothers graduation today, you’re looking at an ENTIRE FAMILY with Masters degrees! #Legacy #FamilyExcellence

    Today makes two years since I lost my role model and my hero. My father was the best leader, coach, & pastor I’ve ever seen, but most importantly he was the best father in the world! I still try to make you proud everyday & live by your words.. “stay the course, keep the faith!”
