I cannot understand why a close family member can’t be given PPE and allowed to sit with their loved one while they die. The emotional damage done by refusing this could be enormous.

I am grateful to President Higgins, the Irish Government and Sinn Fein for the respectful way in which they have responded to the death of Queen Elizabeth. The animosity that has emerged from other quarters on this island has been disheartening. We still have work to do.

David Ervine ‘From the very start our intent was underpinned by the idea that you can’t enjoy this society unless everyone enjoys it. The only way ahead then is to share it, to deal with responsibility or power in a shared sense’ If only today’s politicians understood.

This argument is so disingenuous. These elections were not about the Union. As a Unionist I believe that the DUP’s tactics are destroying Northern Ireland and damaging both the economy and public services. The last thing I would do is support them in doing this.

Saw a patient yesterday who was moved to Universal Credit in October, sanctioned and given £20 last week to last a month. A month. Including Christmas.

Irresponsible rabble rousing. I do not think this represents the views of wider Loyalism.
The energy galvanising grassroots unionism & loyalism is lighting a fire of resistance to the Betrayal Act. That doesn’t need cold water, it needs more fuel

I don’t understand the point of criticising and alienating the Leader of a country that wishes to strengthen the peace process and promote our prosperity.

To be absolutely clear, when the DUP held the balance of power in Westminster they had several opportunities to agree a deal that would have avoided an Irish Sea border. They rejected every option.
.@eastantrimmp "We will not be voting for this deal... That does not mean that we have any common cause with the petulant 'remainers' who want to undo the referendum. It is because we are people who believe that the UK should leave as a whole, and that is not happening."

I would like Belfast’s Jewish community to know that they are a welcome and valued part of this city and I for one am extremely grateful for the contribution they and their faith have made to Belfast.

Admittedly I am not young, but in my opinion the @Translink_NI website is one of the most unhelpful and clunky travel websites I have ever used (and that is putting it politely).

The Union Jack is not being flown from public buildings today. This decision was made in Westminster by the Department for Culture, Media and Sport, and frankly it is a disgrace.
