People have dreams when they are young and some are lucky enough to live them. When this young lad had his birthday in 2014 he was in the Welsh Institute of Sport, Cardiff. Today he had his birthday in Qatar. Yma o Hyd.

Today, ten years on, we remember Gary Speed. An ex Deeside PSFA player, a friend, a great player, and a Manager who influenced the future of a nation. Throughout his life he was humble and special man. Thinking of Roger, Carol, Louise and boys and all of the family❤️. Yma o Hyd.

I’ve lost a very good friend, an ex Chairman of Welsh Schools and a Welsh football legend, Founder of Flintshire PSFA. Mr David Nickless or Mr Nick as the lads knew him has left this life. He was a remarkable friend, mentor and true gentleman who will be sorely missed by us all.

Nothing gives a person working in Youth football more pleasure than to see ‘one of your own’ achieving his dreams and never forgetting his roots. So chuffed for Dan Nolan, coaches and staff and of course Max himself. Yma o Hyd.

Well who would have thought. In 2014 I promised the lads playing for Wales U16’s that when they played for Wales in the World Cup I’d be there. How lucky am I. Yma o Hyd.
