GIF - Why I chose Navy? A thread: After some recent events, the divide between non athletes and varsity athletes at the Naval Academy has come to light again. Specifically, the football team has been targeted for the perception of how we are treated at the academy.
- In today’s day and age, I don’t see why a high school prospect wouldn’t be considering the Naval Academy. You don’t have to worry about coaches going to grab guys from the portal, you don’t have to worry about your teammates opting out on you, and you don’t have to deal with
- And the answer isn’t “get out of Memphis”. The answer is to be apart of the change to help Memphis. Don’t complain about the issue, but refuse to be apart of the solution.
- I went from being a 2-star recruit coming out of high school to signing as an undrafted free agent with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. 👇🏾 Here are the 5 ways that I did it:
- The same people that say “get out of Memphis” are the same ones to ride the bandwagon on anything good that comes from the city. Embrace the good. Work to solve the bad. When we come together as a city, we will be amazed at how much progress that we can make.
