    BREAKING: Brazil has banned live exports. 🎉 A Federal Court decision has stopped live exports from all ports in Brazil. A huge congratulations to our friends at @forumanimal who've made this happen & will continue to work to ensure this verdict is not appealed. #BanLiveExports

    BREAKING: Germany are withdrawing veterinary certificates for live exports to countries outside the EU. To ensure it's not circumnavigated at an EU level Germany are also lobbying for an EU-wide ban on long-distance transport. #BanLiveExports

    NEW petition to ban cages in the UK: bit.ly/3AjE7B9 In June the EU Commission committed to #EndTheCageAge for farmed animals. Today, @DeborahMeaden, has launched a petition calling on the UK Government to do the same. We need 100,000 signatures. Please sign & RT!
    A quote from Deborah Meaden, dragons den entrepreneur, "More than half of the UK's mother pigs give birth confined in prison-like farrowing crates and over a third of the UK's egg laying hens are kept in cages. It's hard to believe this is still legal."

    Octopus are fascinating, inquisitive, sentient creatures with individual personalities. Despite this there are plans to confine them in factory farms. Plans by @PescanovaCorp to start farming octopus in Spain must not go ahead! 👎 #StopOctopusFarms #FreeOctopus
