- We've eliminated the preseason Fall Sports dead period for this year. If school athletic programs are able to practice, they can use summer rules until the official start of the season. cifsjs.org/announcements/…
- We're mourning one of our best. Former Sac-Joaquin Section Commissioner Pete Saco passed away today after a long fight with cancer. He served as commissioner for our member schools from 1993-2014. He also served for your children.
- We're heartbroken to hear of the passing of Kennedy High School football player Emmanuel Antwi. We are sending thoughts and prayers to his family, friends, teammates, and everybody at @SCUSDKennedy
- The Pride of Linden High School. And the entire SJS!Aaron Judge wins the 2017 HR Derby. Judge had 4 homers of at least 500 feet (@statcast). The rest of the field combined to have 0.
- It's all quiet at Stockton Arena now, but this'll be full with the best wrestlers in the SJS for the next two days. Masters Wrestling!
- Congratulations to the SJS D7 football champions, the Ripon Christian Knights!
- We'll be releasing our postseason baseball and softball brackets on Friday! #SJSPlayoffs
