Anthony Bridgerton when Kate said she was leaving for India - Manny Jacinto’s lines cut from Top Gun. Simone Ashley reduced to a cameo in F1. Tracy Ifeachor and the other actresses of color left off The Pitt’s Variety cover. There’s a pattern in Hollywood of casting actors of color, only to minimize, sideline or exclude their presence.
- So when Daphne married she was a basset,Penelope is a bridgerton, Francesca is a stirling,but Kate is still Sharma even though she is Viscountess, lady of the household, literally titled Lady Bridgerton? It’s such a small thing but these “small things” keep happening ALL THE TIME

- As some people were doubting she ever had an actual role in the project, this is the director confirming that indeed she had a storyline.
