- No Englishman has won a domestic trophy in England since Harry Redknapp lifted the FA Cup with #Pompey in 2008. Worth keeping that in mind if you’re questioning the reasons behind the FA choosing Thomas Tuchel.

- If this is the end for Gareth Southgate and England, let’s make sure he gets the respectful exit he absolutely deserves. He’s made us capable of winning a major tournament again. But more importantly, he’s led by example in matters that are far more significant than football.
