In the midst of all the Covid-19 updates I wanted to just pause for a quick second to thank you all for the words of encouragement, the constructive recommendations and for simply asking how you can help. The messages do not go unnoticed though I cannot respond to them all.
- Over 70 Spanish citizens arrived today to build out another field hospital; Falmouth, Trelawny. Doctors, nurses, engineers, etc. A big thank you to the Gov. of Spain and the EU. 🇪🇸 🇯🇲
- Bulk oxygen has arrived with distribution starting this morning at 4:45am. Thanks to the public health team, customs and IGL for this collaborative effort. Everyone please get vaccinated!!!!

- No person should ever be denied access to healthcare. Jamaica, I am deeply saddened by the death of the pregnant mother and we are investigating the matters surrounding her passing. My deepest condolences to her family and friends.
00:00 - On another note, Jamaica has today surpassed 500,000 vaccinations. This is a big milestone for Jamaica and we are well on the way to meeting our target of 700,000 vaccinations by the end of September. Continue to encourage persons to get vaccinated!
