It was a huge honour to be sworn in as BC’s new Minister of Housing and Municipal Affairs today.

FOUR of the BC Conservative's candidates made donations to the Freedom Convoy 👀 Imagine a Rustad government where any of them became Minister of Health, or Education. It's bananas. We can't let that happen. Don't sit this election out. Get involved. There's too much at stake.
NEW: Freedom Convoy donor list Includes the names of several candidates for John Rustad’s BC Conservatives. One BC Conservative candidate appeared as a headline speaker at a convoy conference alongside BC Conservative leader John Rustad last year pressprogress.ca/freedom-convoy… #bcpoli

This is a terrible take. If working families, seniors on pensions, students, artists, teachers, nurses, grocery store workers, etc, etc can't afford to live in our cities, our cities will die. Mixed-income communities make life better for all of us.

Why does your story keep changing? A person did not die, as you claimed. This location is not even close to where you said it was. These are people’s lives. They’re not for you to exaggerate for your own political gain.
This is what I saw before the debate last night. It occurred near the intersection of Burrard and Davie. I did not take this photo, it was sent to me. There was an ambulance at the scene when I saw it. My staff walked by as CPR was happening. One lady said “he's overdosed”.

We should make #PublicTransit free while we are encouraging people to conserve gas. Choosing #Transit & #ActiveTransportation is a powerful way that Metro Vancouver residents can help ensure there is fuel available for rescue efforts and for those hardest hit by the #BCStorm.

Are the BC Liberal candidates in Vancouver ALL men? This is their own ad. Who looked this over and thought “yup, this looks good”? 😳 #bcelxn2020

I’m just a City Councillor, Sitting in a virtual meeting, Asking my colleagues who vote down climate policy to constructively propose alternatives within our jurisdiction that align with the science, rather than simply defending the status quo. #ClimateEmergency #VanPoli 🌎🔥

The acts of terrorism taking place in Washington, DC right now are terrifying, but they hardly come as a surprise. We in Canada cannot be smug. White supremacy and hate exist here too. And it is all of our responsibility to name it, and constantly work to dismantle it.

This is abhorrent behaviour from John Rustad’s team. There is no place in BC for residential school denialism.
The number of confirmed child burials at the former Kamloops Indian Residential School site is zero. Zero. No one should be afraid of the truth. Not lawyers, their governing bodies, or anyone else. 1/3 nationalpost.com/opinion/michae…

Counter offer: We could put an “Olympic” level of ambition into addressing housing and homelessness, a toxic drug supply, and the climate emergency. #vanpoli

This is Elsa, age 14, who wants the people in her neighbourhood to be able to get to their nearby park safely. Elsa and a friend collected 75 signatures from neighbours who want a light and crosswalk at East 3rd and Nanaimo. Investments in road safety are so important! 👇🏽/3
