Ergo will be Proof-of-Work, with innovative financial applications for miners in particular already exist & there will be more. I do not see how anyone can compete with Ergo here.

You are missing (and I think deliberately) p2p network. Mixing in the same basket p2p currencies and datacenter based quasi blockchains is how VCs are undermining the cryptocurrency movement's endgame for years.

I want to like ADA; I really do. Can someone please convince me to take their scaling efforts seriously? ADA's current capacity is 18 TPS, which is pathetic! Input Endorses only increases that to 400 TPS... L2s such as Hydra do not solve for L1 scaling. So what am I missing?

Ergo node is going to get biggest updates since the mainnet launch: bootstrapping with UTXO set snapshot and nipopows (by me), optional indexes for explorer-like queries (by fanta)

Checked Kaspa code again recently, it has multisig support now, so can be integrated with Rosen bridge for getting on Ergo / Cardano / Ethereum / BSC DEXes , just Kaspa community efforts towards integration needed (no integration fee!) @DesheShai @armeanio

Sad to see Bitcoin sidechains with EVM , means a lot of hacks, flashloan attacks etc there. Better DeFi with Ergo and Sigmachains to the rescue!
