Nabisco bakeries are on strike and the rail workers union are in support. “No contract, the flour stays on the tracks” We can have a better life. Do not shop nabisco.

I can’t stop thinking of this massive wild hog that was killed in Logan. I didn’t even know Logan had wild hogs.

I am a young chef in Charleston, West Virginia. After two years of running a food cart and trying to open a restaurant I've decided to start making food related content about where I'm from and the people around me. Please RT so I can gain followers for my YouTube pages launch.

From what I’m gathering they are being asked to work 12 hour work days, inconsistent scheduling, and suffer the loss of overtime pay. One union head mentioned that some veteran employees could lose as much as $30k a year with this new “deal”.

With companies like nabisco who have seen record profits over the pandemic wanting to further exploit their workers that held them afloat we are on the brink of working class revolution. No doubt about it.

If anyone has a source for updates on the situation please tag it in the replies. I’m just piecing together what friends are sharing in leftist groups.

I’ve been a nervous wreck since I submitted the application. Seeing this email come in felt surreal. I’m so thrilled to announce that I’ll be taking part in the WV Folklife apprenticeship program with my aunt. We are studying my mamaws candy recipes and traditions.

That face when you have a consultation about a grant to bring seasonal farmers markets to your home holler and it goes well.
