I've read #DemonSlayer back in 2018. The anime has not released yet but I fell in love with the story. I laugh at the superiority complex of other anime fans who think they can keep saying "Its being carried by animation" when ppl like me who read the manga first exists

On the Contrary, I love How the women were written in demon slayer. Amane is loyal and strong. She took care of Kagaya, partakes in things on his behalf, and even when the king of demons is knocking at the front door, she was cool and steady, She is everything a woman is.

Demon Slayer is a story about the human spirit. It maybe a fantasy world, but its heart is deeply human. The characters feel human because they have human experiences; It’s easy to see yourself in them. We all know what it means to feel loss and to keep going anyway.

Shinobu is intelligent, caring and has a strong sense of Justice. Her built was smaller than others. She was discouraged to be a Hashira and her determination willed her to create her own way to kill demons, analyze demon poison and create an antidote. She is a scientist.

Mitsuri was written for all the girls that don't fit in the standard of society has for a female in a time when a soft, quiet girl is the norm. She represented every woman out there that takes on boss fights, but still does it in style.

It's not just "The other hashira can't cut heads" there is depth to her character. Doing the opposite of what is expected of you and excelling on it, is also everything a woman is.

I love that Mitsuri stays positive, despite the profession. She is the only one of the hashiras that didn't lose her family to demons, so she wasn't forced to become a slayer, she decided to be one. It is nice to know she found purpose in the strength given to her in birth

Nezuko is the soul of the story. She is the reason we are following Tanjiro and hope he succeeds. Just because she doesn't talk, her importance isn't diminished by a bit. Everything is moving in the story because of her.

You cannot expect Modern Concepts and apply it unto Historical Context and deem it just a "fan service" when I loved the fact that GTG created a positive polygamous relationship in media when many has made it negative. (2)

Kanao has one of the best character developments in the show. She started as a person who repressed her emotions and can't think for herself. Since season 1 she was portrayed as a slayer just above Tanjiro and the gang. We don't see it coz' DS is written in Tanjiro's POV.

I was looking for a new shoujo manga to read and when I saw Tanjiro hugging Nezuko, I thought it was one of those Taisho forbidden romance thing, boy was I wrong lol
