    Biden was the test case because he actually won. He did all he could to forgive student loans, passed the most climate change legislation of any POTUS, walked on the picket line and pulled out of Afghanistan among other things. But the left shat on him for his entire presidency.

    This is the view I’ve come around to. The Hillary/Biden/Kamala “tack left to try to appease the left by taking more unpopular stances and not actually winning the trust of the left” hasn’t been a great electoral strategy nor resolved the growing Dem internal tensions.

    Harris will do interviews soon enough but this is all part of the consistent narrative where nothing is expected of the GOP. Only Dems. No one even bothers with the notion that Trump should answer substantive questions because he can’t. But Harris…

    I’m in Toronto. There are some protesters but it just doesn’t have the energy that it does in the US because the whole freedom is everything/you can’t tell me what to do mindset is way stronger in America.

    Harris did tons of interviews/media this week, rallies in Arizona/MI/NC today… a Univision town Hall… Toured hurricane devastation sites and met with leaders there. Don’t understand the idea that she’s not working hard.

    The GOP is largely just a theatre troupe now. Very little interest in governing. All spectacle, all the time. Best to think of them as just a group of performance artists, which is why they handed the party over to a reality TV star.

    Why do Trump supporters always project? Trump is quite possibly the biggest ignoramus in American politics. OK, he may be smarter than Tommy Tuberville but that’s about it. Bet he couldn’t even name the three branches of government if you asked him on the spot.

    Next you’ll be telling us to believe Trump. That’s what I find funny. The media gets a story or two wrong and they can’t be believed but Trump blatantly lies almost on an hourly basis and you guys still treat him like some honest truth teller.
