- I'm pleased Team GB has medalled so many times today that it's now fourthing in the table, one away from podiuming in overall standings.
- Four years ago today @RosamundUrwin & I got this little puppy from @DogsTrust. Ros promised me she’d be small & I could easily take her to the office. She has outgrown both beds & I work from home.
- This wonderful little boy turned one this week. And here is my current favourite picture of him. #eyebrows
- The theme of the party was La La Land. We were the only ones to come as Laa-Laa.

- Looking forward to this government suggesting museums list all foreign art they have on their walls & then insist that they get rid of it.
- Copies just in of @hanavideen’s The Wordhord, out next month from @ProfileBooks. A beautiful book, filled with fascinating Old English words, like gafol-fisc - I’m just sad it’s no longer possible to pay one’s tax in fish.
