I'm pleased Team GB has medalled so many times today that it's now fourthing in the table, one away from podiuming in overall standings.

Four years ago today ⁦@RosamundUrwin⁩ & I got this little puppy from ⁦@DogsTrust⁩. Ros promised me she’d be small & I could easily take her to the office. She has outgrown both beds & I work from home.

Very excited that my book Herding Cats is out today. Everything I've learnt from playing cricket badly in 1 volume. waterstones.com/book/herding-c…

Delighted to see my 2017 book on amateur cricket captaincy included in the backdrop of a piece on what cricket was like 21 years ago.

Thrilled that @RosamundUrwin has won news journalist of year at @WBWAwards. Her Operation Yellowhammer scoop for @thesundaytimes with @cazjwheeler was one of most important stories of year.

Copies just in of ⁦@hanavideen⁩’s The Wordhord, out next month from ⁦@ProfileBooks⁩. A beautiful book, filled with fascinating Old English words, like gafol-fisc - I’m just sad it’s no longer possible to pay one’s tax in fish.

I have written a hard-hitting piece about cricket tea for the Spectator.
