This is one of those things where you can't unring the bell, the damage has already been done, you've labelled an entire fanbase with the worst possible label, the national media has already run to press with it
You've got Chiney Ogwumike on ESPN saying this is a thing that factually happened, you've got an entire writeup in the Times saying that this happened, you've got Annie's fucking Tea Party or whatever saying THEIR SOURCES say it's true, etc etc etc
And all of it - ALL OF IT - could have be prevented if you had just done your fucking due diligence before releasing a public statement
If I'm the Fever I'm out for blood - that organization has been through the goddamn wringer the past few weeks and for no reason
It is time to make fucking amends with the franchise keeping your entire league afloat you absolute birdbrains
Make your apology as loud as the fucking accusation
