    Very disappointed to hear about inappropriate crass comments by a vocal minority being made on Max Comtois's instagram. Here's the thing though, IMO: it doesn't even matter that he's a jr. hockey player. Those personal attacks aren't appropriate even if he was 30 & in the NHL.

    QMJHL is actively working at adding two American teams- and is hoping to do so by 26-27. Portland & Manchester looking like two most likely possibilities. Q would need to work with USA Hockey but Mario Cecchini seems optimistic about that relationship.

    Jonathan Marchessault wasn't even a star player in junior until his 19 year old season. Now he's in the NHL riding a lamborghini to a game where he scores two goals for a first year expansion team in the third round of the playoffs. What a story and what a team. #VegasBorn

    Very sad day for CBSE family.... Declan Smith's mom Rachel, after a courageous & lengthy battle with cancer, has left us too soon. Had pleasure of meeting her multiple times, wonderful woman who raised a strong captain off & on ice. Thoughts w/ Declan & the rest of the Smiths.

    Really not sure how I made it through the end of the third period and the post-game on the radio without completely bawling my eyes out. @dekkky96 is an inspiration to everyone.... and kudos to his teammates & the fans for helping making a truly special moment even better.

    This would be, and can't be overstated, an absolute bombshell. As per Kevin Dube, in a recent summit between USHL/CHL/NHL there were serious discussions of USHL joining the CHL. Concensus is, and it's not surprising, the USHL has been the biggest loser in the NCAA rule change.

    I just saw Shawinigan's bus driving through Sydney and it made me immensely happy. Tomorrow's game is the first QMJHL regular season game between a Maritime and a Quebec team since Moncton's win over Drummondville on March 8, 2020.

    More aged out 20s jumping to NCAA from the CHL + guys jumping from USport, makes it that much harder even for star 19s to play NCAA. It's only going to get harder for younger players in the NCAA, not easier. The standard for how good you'll need to be at 19 will be much higher.
