- Furries stop putting headdresses on fursuits. Like. Can we just stop. 98% of indigenous people in this fandom can’t wear them due to their sacred values (I don’t say 100% because idk maybe a chief here is a furry… but… like man. It just burns my ass every time I see it

- My parents sent me to a small community class lead by a local elder in the town I grew up in. She taught us to make drums. From skinning the deer, to tanning the hide, to stretching it over the forms. And to painting. I did these when I was 12. I gave them to my grandmothers.
