Medical trauma survivor. Left for dead by a system that promised care. I write from the wreckage. I speak for the silenced. Capitalism kills. #hEDS#LongCovid
I realize I'm wired different, but how does aggressive marketing not turn people off? Send me an email about a sale, I might take a look. Send me an email a day and you're getting blocked, filters applied to block your brand, and I feel angry any time I think of your brand.
So Joe Rogan was served by a waiter in a mask and said he would fire the guy.
Waiter had zero impact on Rogan's experience. Rogan is just so fragile/uninformed about airborne infectious disease that he cried about it on a podcast. Servers literally cannot afford to be sick.
Yeah. Kids look resilient. Until the former overachiever who managed to get straight A's through the traumatic years while acting like an "old soul" collapses into alcoholism at 30.
Children donβt βbounce backβ from trauma.
They bury it.
And buried trauma doesnβt vanish it leaks out later as anxiety, rage, shame, addiction, and self-destruction.
So no, kids arenβt resilient.
Theyβre hurting.
Former firefighter here to say that standing in this without a respirator on is peak stupidity and extremely dangerous.
PPE has been so demonized by the ruling class that wants us out spending them into another yacht that they've brainwashed us to demand the right to self-harm.
Fear God?
Nah.
I fear a world where religious people strip the majority of their basic human rights, bodily autonomy, freedom, and privacy in an attempt to force the rules of one (of thousands) religion into secular spaces.
We should ALL fear that.
I don't know who needs to hear this but being afraid of an airborne pathogen that can take away your health, your future, and your ability to do most of the things you enjoy is an appropriate feeling. Caution is the appropriate response.

"jUsT sTaY iN yOuR hOuSe FoReVeR iF yOu'Re ScArEd Of #CoViD!"
I have. For almost 3 YEARS. And the funny part is the folks saying this are the same ones still complaining about not being able to drink in a bar for a few weeks 2 YEARS AGO. I just want groceries & healthcare, bro.
I strongly urge everyone to get some books (hard copies, not ebooks) on emergency medicine and study like your life depends on it. Because it does. Learn everything you can, and what should be the expected treatment. Increasingly, we will all need to know and self-advocate.
Had some dude in a truck shout loudly at me "TAKE OFF THE STUPID MASK!" to which I shouted just as loudly "CANCER SAYS I CAN'T."
Truck guy proceeded to get stuck right there for a lengthy traffic delay (about 7 mins) where he stared ahead looking like he wanted to disappear. π
"yOu HaVe CoViD aNxiEtY!"
As a degreed mental health professional, allow me to explain. Anxiety is not always a disorder. Sometimes it is an adaptive response which protects us. #Covid19 has seriously harmed millions including me, my husband, my son. Fear is appropriate. 1/2
"I can't get a doctor appt!"
"I had a 30-hr wait in the ER!"
"There's a shortage of my meds!"
"Every concert I try to see gets canceled!"
"There aren't enough teachers or bus drivers!"
"Everyone is always sick!"
Welcome to just a few of the consequences of ignoring #Covid
