- By the way, for everyone agonizing over this: Here in Massachusetts, breakfast & lunch (and at many schools, an afternoon snack) is FREE FOR ALL CHILDREN from pre-school through high school. Our school system is rated #1 in the country. There is no “down side” to feeding kids.I’m a (ahem!) mature woman— & I have no biological or adopted children or grandchildren — but I want everyone to know that I’d LOVE my taxes to feed each & every child 2 meals a day, year round, preschool through 12th grade, regardless of their family’s financial status.

- This is absolutely accurate and it is true of EVERY WOMAN I KNOW OR EVER KNEW. And whether she’s told you about it or not, it’s true of every woman you know or ever knew as well. It’s true if your mother, your sister, your daughter, your colleague, your boss. EVERY ONE.

If a woman is in the presence of a man when an idea comes out of her mouth, the man assumes ownership of it, immediately. It’s almost a reflex. Unless it turns out to be wrong.
