    Honestly question, do kids watch baseball and play wiffle ball anymore? Kids come in for lessons all the time and I ask who’s your favorite player? Did you watch a game this week? And I get a blank stare 😕 Watching and trying to imitate your fav player >>> lessons

    88-90 for strikes is common at this point in collegiate baseball. That velo is no longer the separator that it used to be. If you want to be a guy at the next level you have to either: A. Throw ⛽️ (Sit 92+) B. Spin it & Spot it C. Have plus FB metrics w/ secondaries

    The recent IHSA ruling to disallow athletes to participate in invite events (All Star Games) is a blatant overstep into the personal lives of athletes. Kids depend on those events to get seen. This isn’t in the best interest of athletes. @IHSA_IL PLEASE REVERSE THIS DECISION‼️

    So here’s a live look at the #umpshow Mason Roehr was 4-4 w/ 4HRs & 8 RBIs yes… you read that right. Mason was tossed as he crossed home plate for “bat flipping” Mason is one of the nicest hard working kids we have. Mason and I served that suspension together. #clownshow

    Drill I like to use to feel hinge. I’m sure I’m not the 1st person to use this. Using a connection ball here, but anything similar works. Trying to drift the front side forward (glove, hip, foot.) while keeping vertical shin. 3 sets of 8-10 before throwing 🤙🏼@FlatgroundApp
