    Today we lost our dearest friend, Gael & President Sean Cooney. He was a beacon of light for our club aswell as Avondhu, Duhallow, Cork and Munster for over 6 decades and the impact he made on all our lives is immeasurable. To the brightest of stars Ní bheidh a leithéid arís ann.

    One of the greatest players ever to wear a Mallow and hopefully soon a Senior @OfficialCorkGAA jersey in Paul Lyons! We don’t say that lightly! Besides his amazing talent, it’s his humility, honesty and decency that he imparts. He absolutely has it all!

    All set for tomorrow’s @MunsterGAA Dr. Harty Cup final between @CBCCorkHurling and @StFlannans @ 12 noon and @CorkLGFA V Mayo @ 3pm. Our pitch is in amazing condition and should allow for fantastic games, thanks to @turftechcork & all the lads in the complex. Best of luck to all.

    4 the day of that’s in it, it was great to see @crossbar13 in action again last nite. After a rnd of golf that day played Junior championship with @GAABallyclough gave a master class in long range free taking(0-6?) & in goal keeping(saved a penalty) unreal stuff #classispermanent
