    I just learned those LGBTQIA+ posts on official Disney accounts today weren't done to distract from the walk outs. They were done by individual cast members, who work in social media, in *support* of the walk outs.

    I sat down to dinner at Disney Wish’s Marvel-themed restaurant and the VERY FIRST THING THAT HAPPENS is Ant-Man explaining why he couldn’t explode Thanos by climbing inside his butt. This is the best thing Disney has ever done, 100000/10

    after an emergency c-section I spent three days watching a tv channel that only showed the hospital food menu. whenever my husband tried to change it, I’d scream at him. the absolute perfect mental state to meet a life-size pop tart imo

    It's been a bitter pill to swallow, but I've accepted these are not the same theme parks from before the pandemic. It's a different company, the blow of constant nickel-and-diming is unlikely to relent and for those of us who have emotional ties to these places, it's really hard.

    oh boy, I went to dinner and didn’t pick up my phone so i’ll clarify: many of us presumed today’s posts, shared on official Disney accounts that hadn’t yet shared similar sentiments, were an empty gesture or coordinated distraction from staff walk outs. this was not the case.
