- A journey that started in 2011 when I made my debut for @officialdowngaa , itβs coming to an end in 2025. To much time on the physio beds this last 2 years played it part as does the essence of time, the body can only take so much. π΄β«οΈ

- Thatβs the 2020 campaign done, as much as itβs hard to accept defeat the way I started this year Iβm delighted to be back playing again. This year had a negative start but progressed as time went on but the biggest positive coming from it is Iβll be becoming a father in 2021 π
- The prices into Gaelic matches for the championship are nothing short of ridiculous, how can they expect families to pay 30 for each parent and then 5 for each child at the gate. Amateur sport people forget.
- So basically the way itβs going is no spectators allowed to games tomorrow night π€ but crowds can gather in confined spaces in bars and restaurants. Makes sense yea as people will be more at risk out in the open with fresh air π€·ββοΈπ€£
- 7 weeks since my head injury, all Iβm able to do at the minute is walk, pushing myself in my walks Iβd rather be doing it on the field for @OfficialDownGAA but Rome wasnβt built in a day, it takes time but Iβm building to get back and get at it again πͺπ»πͺπ»
- Season 2022 comes to an abrupt ending, MRI confirming the ACL is completely torn with a few other issues in there. Hereβs to the journey to 2023 πͺπ»πͺπ»
- Todayβs session for me was massive, one thing that got me was trying to jump, the vibrations were hurting my head, but today I was able to get through 5 reps of counter movement jumps with no problems ππ» baby steps with the recovery hopefully getting closer to being 100% again
00:00 - Baby CΓ³irle Annie mooney born today @AdairTrainor and baby doing well getting a well deserved snooze π€π₯°
- Season for @OfficialDownGAA is over but what a way to bow out a fighting performance against a @MayoGAA team whoβs been about the block for a long time we can build from it canβt wait to get back at it already. The atmosphere last night was unbelievable credit to the supporters.
- 14 months I waited for the first competitive game back for @RGUDownpatrick, loads of people helped me along the way especially my physio/wife @AdairTrainor and S n C coach with @OfficialDownGAA. Time to build everything further on.
- Enjoyable couple of days since Saturday, on reflection itβs a special feeling getting over the line in a final for @officialdowngaa there has been plenty of finals lost in the past.
