    I had a interview today with a company and they offered me $155k. I answered every question thoroughly and crushed the coding assessment. I feel like $155k is way too low for what they’re asking for as a Senior Engineer so I’ll be negotiating. I need at least $200k.

    I started working a Software Engineering contract last year with a company and they were paying me $72/hr, I kept picking up other contracts paying more than that. But a couple of weeks ago I decided to put in my two week notice, and they offered me $100/hr which is $208k/yr.

    Just got out of an interview with one of the top airlines in the US and they offered me an AWS Lead Developer role. They'll be building an entire team around me, I didn't even have to do a technical interview 😂 These $200k+ contracts are out here I'm telling you.

    I could lose it all and get it right back. Do you want to know how? Because I have skills that are high in demand and companies are always on my line trying to get me to work for them. In college I was making $11/hr as a security guard with no tech skills. I worked for this.

    I think some of y’all on here fail to realize that there are engineers making hundreds of thousands yearly and don’t say shit about what they making. You don’t have to believe anything I’m saying though I’m just nobody 😂
