    I'm always asked where do I invest and this is my attempt to define it... I grew up in a tiny ass town in the middle of nowhere Texas and then moved to what was once a tiny cowboy town in Montana (sadly it is now considered v hip!). Living in both places has given me a different

    I genuinely don't understand why VCs insist on saying they "invest in the future of work." Bruh, it's just B2B software. No one is tryna invest in the past of work...🤷‍♀️

    One time I asked a VC for help and they told me I wasn’t relevant until I got to 10K followers on Twitter…truly the most useless advice. Welp, still not at 10K and feeling just fine thank you very much. 💁‍♀️

    Sometimes (actually often) I read a VC’s tweet and die a little inside. I can’t imagine living life with that much self-importance. Must be truly exhausting.

    I don't mean to start a holy war here, but Notion performance is too slow and using Apple notes has gotten too unwieldy. I love being able to have a native app rather than being browser based so no go on Roam. Any suggestions for other options?

    VC fund (newish one) pulled term sheet on one of my angel investments. Super proud of founder for handling with grace, but learned that this firm has done this multiple times w/o cause recently. Such a bad look. One of few things you have in this biz is your word.

    I don't buy the whole SF is dead thing like Twitter makes it out to be, but what is certain is that NYC is very much alive re: all things tech/VC. Going to dinners, walking around, meetings-- running into folks left and right- it feels like how SF used to feel. 🤷‍♀️
