    yesterday, I resigned from my role as EIC of Palette Poetry due to censorship, neutrality, & painful conversations around the occupation of Palestine. I'm sad to leave this way, but I can't work for a company that frames genocide as complicated. tinyurl.com/re2ebkw4

    it’s fun realizing a lot of writers care more about the concept of free speech than actual humanity. i could die in front of them and they’d write an ambiguous poem about the trauma of witnessing but never actually approach my body. so fun!

    interesting read and makes a lot of sense but everyone seems to forget that rupi kaur made a name for herself by stealing form & content from Nayyirah Waheed, a black woman & poet -- so really this should be about her.

    at a cafe listening to an elderly man read aloud from a book to his wife while she sips her coffee. it’s been ~20 minutes and i hope he never stops, i am soothed 😭
