- I found this reflection from #Hokies forward Tobi Lawal interesting after yesterday's season-ending loss to Cal. The VCU transfer averaged 12.4 points per game and seven rebounds per game during his first season in Blacksburg.
- Elizabeth Kitley, Cayla King and Carleigh Wenzel (who announced today she's staying with the #Hokies next year) were here at Tech Softball Park a few minutes ago. They got an ovation as they walked out.
- The #Hokies have played seven softball games this season. They have yet to surrender a run. They have only given up eight hits in 39 innings.
- A big part of Brent Pry's appeal to the #Hokies was his promise to improve Tech's recruiting in-state. Securing a commitment from Gerard Johnson -- a four-star defensive end who On3 ranks the No. 1 recruit in Virginia -- helps a lot.
- Athletes Unlimited softball just announced #Hokies pitcher Emma Lemley would be drafted to one of its four teams in May.
