CKB Is An Ideal Bitcoin Layer 2
As a monetary system, Bitcoin is inherently layered. But what should a Bitcoin monetary layer 2 look like? It should be an integral part of the entire system, sharing the same foundational values and design decisions. Ideally, it would be

- An update on Godwoken: 1. Godwoken has a feature "instant finality" which can give L2 tx execution result before the tx is included in L2 block. A bug in it was triggered by the massive RPC requests combined with Yokai's requests pattern yesterday.Thank you for joining us today. Due to so many users, RPC servers are running slower than we hope, causing certain functions to not run optimally. We understand this can be frustrating. We are working with Nervos to fix the issue. Stay tuned!
- Nervos started and grew with supporters all over the world. It has nothing to do with any government (including the Chinese one). It's running on permissionless and borderless PoW. Its algo/code is open. Layer 1 is beyond nation states.
- I love DOBs. DOBs are not NFTs. DOBs aren't just pictures. Pics are visual representations of DOBs, created from its DNA and decoder. DOBs are fully on-chain. All necessary rendering parts, such as DNA, decoder, and pattern/fixtures, are stored on the chain. DOBs are Bitcoin
- Those who say Nervos move slow just don't understand the amount of work behind - new consensus, new VM and new smart contract model, with peer-reviewed proofs. We took the hard path with full determination. We want to create something enlightening and valuable, not cheap forks.Only ten (active) blockchain projects have published their main design components at top security conferences ("big four" and three IACR flagship events). - The RGB++ idea which makes use of a Bitcoin L2 as a RGB client is really intriguing. RGB derives from @peterktodd's "Single-Use Seal", uses Bitcoin UTXO as seals and Bitcoin blockchain as a decentralized publication medium. What if we use L2 extended UTXOs (e.g. CKB cells) asDelighted to announce the release of our latest contribution to Bitcoin ecosystem - the RGB++ Protocol. RGB++ represents an extension of the RGB protocol, incorporating single-use seals and client-side validation techniques to effectively manage state alterations and

- A quick summary of ckb-vm by @xxuejie : ethereum-magicians.org/t/long-term-l1… We're pleased to give back to the Ethereum community and hope our RISC-V experience proves useful. Thank you, @VitalikButerin, for acknowledging our work.
- What a well defined and insightful trilemma. All trilemmas can be any two of: - well defined - insightful - true but never all three
- (0/N) Recently several ppl asked my opinions on Ergo which shares a similar design with CKB. Here it is: (the comparison is based on my understanding of the Ergo whitepaper storage.googleapis.com/ergo-cms-media…)
- BTC: digital gold CKB: digital land Let CKB be the new continent of BTC apps.
- A big shout out to @jordan_mack for creating such a well-thought-out proposal! I encourage all #CKB fellas to read it and share your comments. We've learned from v1, and it's time to evolve! Looking forward to more meta-DAO proposals and "v2"s!
