Having programmed military software for the better part of a decade before joining games. The interface on this application could not be more accurate.

Hi I did finger painting as a child. Here is a thread on why fine art is bullshit 1/X Also I run an AI company that has a vested interest in killing new media because my startup only knows how to manipulate still images.
I created the Google Cardboard almost ten years ago but quit VR soon after to focus on Machine Learning. VR is based on a ridiculous misunderstanding. Let me explain why in this thread.

After 3 years of making serious games I was told during an interview that I was not a real gamedev and if I got an offer I'd be lucky if it was above minimum wage Since: - Won a GDCA with Job Simulator + others - Emmy Nominated for R&M:VR + others - CTOwl at Owlchemy Labs
Tech Twitter: Tell me about a time someone underestimated or dismissed you and what amazing things you’ve gone on to do since then? RT for reach if y’all want a bunch of victory stories 😌💖

When I worked with the IRS we tried to make open APIs for devs to make e-file apps and other IRS integrations. We were blocked by laws written by these companies.
Yearly reminder that TurboTax and H&R block spend millions in lobbying to keep tax filing complicated so they can profit from "making it easier" for you google.com/search?q=tax+f…

It's going about as well as swerving around someone that's waiting for a green to cross the intersection.

The Palworld discourse is terrifying. Watching developers do the exact thing we ask players not to do (attack without doing real research) is difficult to swallow. I had hoped the community would wait for hard evidence of foul play. Toxic hypocrisy

I see lots of people asking “how could the team get fired when the parent company is so profitable?” Let’s talk about Contribution Margin and when it can go wrong. 🧵

Phew I was worried for a second... Disc golf is a great way to socially distance yourself from the rest of society.

Lukewarm take: requiring the unity logo only for free users has been a detriment to their brand

Everyone who is saying we should just do "GDC in VR" has clearly never attended an event in VR before.
