- So, some thoughts on the Binance hack. Binance is the largest user of the Cosmos software. They run a $multibillion platform without meaningful contributions or engagement with the core software. There’s a lot to learn from what happened here.
- Today marks 5 yrs since the @cosmos fundraiser. $17M was raised in <30min on April 6, 2017 to fund an Internet of Blockchains. In the last 24hrs, there's been >$150M of IBC txs across dozens of sovereign Cosmos chains. The Internet of Blockchains is here. 🥂to the next 5 yrs!
- We can code trivial PoW into our PoS chains sufficient to satisfy the letter of the law in less time than it took them to vote on the bill ... if you think dumb regulation is going to kill crypto you are ngmi We can all have this deployed before the law even takes effect
- 1/ This month marks a pivotal transition point in the history of the @cosmos project. I offer my reflection – on how we got here, where we are going, and what it’s all for:
- My grandfather would have cut this out and mailed it to me by post. He did this repeatedly over the years every time an article about Bitcoin or blockchain showed up in the papers. - Literally the opposite of true. Cosmos was designed with fault isolation at heart. Sovereign chains fail independently of each other. Terra going down does not directly affect the Hub or other chains. This was a successful demonstration of Cosmos security model!
- 1/ I want to talk about something that’s been troubling me. We’ve seen a stark increase in hateful, discriminatory rhetoric circulating in our community and it’s time to confront the grave risks it poses to our collective well-being.
- ppl talk lots of shit about cosmos marketing since apparently quietly building the best tech in the space and birthing a new internet isn't good enuf so I'm gonna do my part by tweeting more aggressively about how dumb the royal you are, and how incredible the royal we are :)
